Walking Through Time
Updated 08/10/21
The Walking Through Time group is up and running again. Our walks are combined with learning about the history of the area, so we explore and learn as we walk. In September we went to Melton Mowbray, other recent walks have included the Leicester and Swannington Railway, Quorn and Foxton Locks.
This group meets on the last Wednesday of the month, usually at 9.45 for a 10 a.m. start. It will combine walking for 2 - 2.5 hours with learning about the local history of the area usually ending up at a pub at the end.
Members are encouraged to take turns at organising a walk and researching the local history of the area.
