As we all know the Corona Virus has disrupted our programme of events. All our normal monthly meetings have been shifted to Zoom until further notice. If you have not yet had a chance to set up and use Zoom then click here First Time Set Up/Use of Zoom for further advice and help. We recognise that not everyone is comfortable using Zoom so, where a speaker has agreed, we will record the presentation and provide members with a link to watch it.
We are attempting to rescue the 10th Anniversary celebrations. We have tentatively moved all the events to the equivalent dates in 2021. These are shown below so you can put them in your diary, however, there is no guarantee that they will be able run on these dates as it will be dependent on government advice at the time. We will keep you in touch as the situation develops.
This page is intended to highlight upcoming events open to the membership as a whole. Individual group activities and timetables will be found in the Groups section of this site.
These are groups whose events are open to all U3A members. Please check their group pages by clicking on the group name above for a schedule of their upcoming events.
Monthly General Meetings of the U3A at 2.00pm on the fourth Thursday of the month in St Peter's Church Centre, Church Road, Glenfield, LE3 8DP
will resume when government advice allows
Our meetings are a great way to learn more about our U3A. Lots to see, lively chat, informative and entertaining speakers and a cup of tea!! You will be made very welcome.
If you have suggestions for speakers at these meetings, please contact the Speaker Secretary via the Contact Page.
