Card Making

Updated 30/03/2019

The Card Making Group meets in the afternoon of the 4th Friday of the month at St Peter’s Church Centre. We all enjoy producing hand-made greetings cards for birthdays, Christmas etc to give to friends and family members.

At some of our sessions we share ideas for cards for specific occasions like wedding anniversaries, Easter, or Christmas. At other times we learn a new technique such as using die cut shapes, or particular types of paint or ink, or making cards with moving parts. Occasionally we make gift bags or boxes as well as cards. Those members of the group who wish to do so take turns to run a session showing us a design or a technique that they have used.

There is always time for a chat and a cup of tea at our meetings and the best thing is that we go home with something unique that we have made ourselves and can use to send good wishes to a friend or relative.
