This group meets in each other's houses on the first Tuesday of the month from 2 - 3.30pm.
Group Coordinator is Pat Young.
None of us are experts, we just like trying something new and having our reading matter extended. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 2 – 3.30ish pm in each other’s homes to share views on that month’s book, drink tea & coffee and eat biscuits in a relaxed atmosphere. We select our book lists jointly from a variety of sources, such as Mann-Booker nominations or authors one of us has read and recommends. We set ourselves the challenge of reading at least one classic a year, though most of what we read is contemporary fiction. To give you an idea of what we’ve been reading recently, here’s our reading list for the current twelve months.
