Our next visits
This visit has been postponed till May due to flooding Hambledon weir and short 2m walk along the River Thames*

Friday 29th March Primroses
Revised date Good Friday 29 March. We will park and meet at 10am on the Ridgway to the side of the upper playing field which is off the left of the Chinnor Hill road as you drive out of Chinnor. Park to the left of the park. We will walk to the BBOWT nature reserve on the side of the hill. The area is renowned for it's Primroses every Spring. No need to book but please do carshare.
The date we published in our programme of 20 May was too late to see Primroses! Please take that date out of your diaries.

Monday April 29 10.30 Otmoor RSPB Reserve* - Bird Watching led by RSPB Warden

Monday 20 May 10am Hambledon weir and short 2m walk along the River Thames*
Meet at Mill End Car Park RG9 6TL at 10.00 prompt.
We go across the long Thames weir walkway with great views and then over the lock.
We walk along the river observing the birds, gardens and trees and taking in the air!
After the visit, you may wish to make your own way by car to Henley (4miles) to get a
coffee or lunch in one of the many establishments in this lovely riverside town. Admire the
magnificent river bridge and boats.
When parking in Henley, I suggest the train station car park. But there is another more
expensive one by the River and Rowing Museum and closer to the river. Parking charges apply
in all the car parks.
No limit on numbers on this visit and therefore no need to book this time but consider car sharing.
Hopefully there will be no flooding in May!#.
