Play reading
Our Play Reading Group meets to read plays which will fit into our two hour session. The parts are handed out at random and some readers enjoy putting on appropriate accents but no acting is required.
Plays we have read include both serious and comedy plays. Examples are “Wuthering Heights”, “Fawlty Towers”, “The Lady in the Van”, “Cider with Rosie” and “The Woman in Black”, ‘Snake in the Grass, ‘The Scarlett Pimpernel’, ‘Mansfield Park’ and ‘Sense and Sensibility’.
