Painting Group 1

Please note our new venue, Plymstock United Church w.e.f. 14th March 2024

At our meeting on 14 March we christened our new venue at Plymstock United Church and I think the members were all agreed that it turned out to be a good move. We have a lovely large space with plenty of natural light and, probably best of all, we have some heating to enjoy at long last - hooray!

If there are any old or new members of the u3a who would like to join our group we have approximately three spaces available. We are a friendly group, enjoying each other's company and sharing our knowledge. If you enjoy painting and feel you would like to join a group of like-minded people please get in touch with me. You can always come along to one of our meetings for a taster session to see whether it is for you and make a decision later.

We are a friendly group encompassing a wide range of abilities from more experienced artists to those with more modest skills. To further increase our knowledge, demonstrations/workshops from professional artists will be planned for later in the year.

The aim of the group is to offer each other encouragement and inspiration and, above all, enjoy each other's company in a relaxed atmosphere.

I should be pleased to hear from anybody who thinks they would be interested in joining us.
