VenueVariable. Future Talks will now take place at the Staddy in the afternoon. We do have various local guided talks, with one day long one further afield per year.
Day/Time3rd Tuesday of the month, but times are variable so contact Pauleen if necessary.

March's meeting was extremely well attended with over 30 people. The talk titled New Lives, New Lands, some journeys from (and occasionally to) Plymouth highlighting the English Settlement of North America in the late 16th and early 17th Century, and emigration to Australia and New Zealand in the 19th Century, was extremely interesting and Nigel Overton was very well prepared on the subject as usual.

The aim of the group is to explore the history of our region and further our knowledge of how it developed, by inviting interesting local historians to give talks or guide us around various historical places in the area.
