Day/Time2nd and 4th Fridays of the month from 14:00

We are now meeting at Fort Stamford at 14:00 every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. We are having a break over Easter and restart on 12th April. Although we have a waiting list it is always worth checking for vacancies.

Please contact Anthea Heath on the above telephone number to arrange a "taster" session, to see/hear what we do and decide if you are comfortable with the level of the group.

You would be warmly welcomed by a friendly and supportive group who enjoy working and learning together. Sessions cover useful topics such as booking accommodation and ordering a meal, French telephone numbers and asking directions. Our sessions are based on a text book and worksheets prepared by Izzy Crow, whom we thank for her time and patience.

Group members have very differing experiences of France and its language but all are keen to extend and build on their knowledge. Meetings are friendly, relaxed and totally non-threatening. The group uses a readily available text book which is supplemented with work sheets, laptop presentations and various role play scenarios and has also read extracts from The Three Musketeers led by Izzy Crow.

Class members learn from and help each other leading to a greater understanding of the language and increased confidence in using it.
