The group / band meetings are held in the residents lounge of Woodland Mews, Reid Park Road, Jesmond.
If anyone would like to join us , to SING or PLAY , please get in touch. You would be guaranteed a warm welcome.

UPDATE at 25th April
At our next meeting we will play playlist 3 plus practicing tunes for Music Festival.
At our meeting today it was decided to drop “The lion sleeps tonight “ and replace it with
“All I have to do is dream”
It would be helpful to know who is available for the performance. Please confirm at our next meeting
Date for your DIARY
On Thursday 6th June Northumbria Region u3a are holding a “ Celebration of Music “
It is being held in Sunniside Social Club NE16 5NA
It will be in 3 parts
Part 1 from 3pm - 5 .this will be for individual performers with 15 minute slots.
We have been allocated a slot in this part
Part 2 from 5pm - 6 interval . Buffet for available at £7
Part 3 from 6pm - 9 this will be for bigger bands
Entrance will be free for those performing with spectators charged £5
As we will have to be up and off stage in 15 minutes I suggest we only play 3 tunes .
I propose we start with “Alexander’s ragtime band “ . (Dulwich song book 1)
Then “All I have to do is dream “ (playlist 3)
Finish with “Fivefoot two medley “ ( playlist 1 )
