I.T. And Computing (on Zoom)
Group name: I.T. and Computing Group
- This is a u3a Regional Zoom Group open to any u3a member in Northumbria Region u3a (Northumberland, Newcastle, Tyneside, Gateshead, County Durham, including some of Teesside, Cleveland, Northallerton, Bedale, Cowtons and Countryside, Guisborough, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Stockton)
- You do not need to be a member of Newcastle u3a to join in, while we are on Zoom.
Events: every Tuesday 10.15 am for a 10.30 am start until 11.30am.
- Still not going “in person” yet. It’s working well on Zoom.
Purpose: An informal chat about our computing experiences during the previous week, and a look at some of the press coverage of the latest gadgets, scams, tips and tricks.
Computer help available We try to help all members regardless of competence or confidence to help solve your needs and understanding in the complex world of e-communication:-
- for any u3a member in any u3a in the region/network
- laptop, mobile phone, iPad or tablet (see also info about the regional iPad user group)
- Most weeks I get round to emailing our weekly notes to anyone who wants them.
