Poetry

The Poetry group meets on the 3rd Thursday afternoon of most months, starting at 2pm, in Room 2 at Pink Lane. Kate Scott is the main contact for the group and Stuart Scott, who has more years experience of lecturing in English Literature than he is prepared to admit, runs the group. We look at poets - their lives and what influenced them - and their poetry and the subject for each month is chosen democratically by the group.

We welcome new members so, if you're interested, do get in touch.

The 2020 programme is attached together with what we've looked at in previous years.

Sadly all our U3A meetings have had to be suspended while the coronavirus situation continues but we look forward to meeting again as soon as we are able to.
