Name of group: Talking About Art
Purpose of the Group: We meet to discuss all varieties of art such as we see around us and in our local galleries. Usually, for several meetings, we follow a chosen theme in art which is followed by a member's personal choice. We have a lively and interesting group of members who access information from a variety of sources. You do NOT have to be an expert!
During the Coronavirus pandemic
Day/Times of Meetings:The 1st Mondays of the month at 1-2p.m, using Zoom
On resuming face to face meetings:
Day/Times of meetings: 1st Mondays of the months at 2p.m.
Venue: Room 2, Pink Lane. When the first Monday of the month is a bank holiday, sometimes we meet in an art gallery/ exhibition.
Cost: £1.00 per member for each meeting ( includes coffee/tea and biscuits)

July 6th: was 'Italian Ceramics' led by Kate and a portrait of 'Samuel Pepys' by John Hayls 1666 - brief history and analysis
August 3rd: we had a PPT presentation called, 'Progression In Art?'
