Purpose of the group:To explore all things Italian e.g. places, food, language, music, art
When we meet: During this period of Lock-down there is a small weekly magazine about aspects of Italian Culture. Recent topics - 28th June 2020 - Giovanni Falcone & Paolo Borsellino and their fight against the Mafia. 5th July: Siracusa - Jewel in Sicily's Crown; Giorgio Vasari: Painter, Architect and Art Historian; the Minor Basilica of San Clemente, Rome; Alessandro Manzoni - inventor of modern Italian Literature(?)
Registering and subs: £1 each meeting which includes tea, coffee and biscuits
