This is a new online learning group started initially to provide learning while the Coronavirus impacts on our meetings but will continue post crisis.

We are not experts and have different levels of knowledge of astronom.

Name of group: Astronomy Online Learning
Purpose of group:
1. To provide online learning in the first instance while the Coronavirus is impacting on U3A group meetings
2. To provide exciting, curious and amazing items about astronomy
3. An opportunity for members to add their own discoveries and/or their online learning resources and /or provide tasks to complete and reading material examples
3. It may evolve into a forum or a way to inform members of a forthcoming event
When?: Links are posted regularly. Virtual meetings are the 4th Wednesdays of the months.
How?: Read, research, find reading resources, lists of books, periodicals, magazines. Problem solve, classify, create, listening. We share our learning and learn from each other.
No need for a telescope just enjoyment of our amazing universe |
