| Originally exclusively for owners and their dogs, this group is now open to members who appreciate dogs but don’t own one. The walks are held monthly on Thursdays at 10.30 am till about 12:30. They are around 3-4 miles, proceed at a leisurely pace (roughly 2 miles per hour) and are designed to include areas where dogs can run off lead for some of the time. Coastal walks with beaches are a popular choice and we aim to include many of them. Some members might feel a short section of some walks is all they can manage and returning to cars to drive to meet us for lunch would be fine. Some walks will be public transport friendly but where they are not, lifts might be available.
