Gardening 2

Gardening 2

We meet on the 4th Friday of every month from 10.30am - 12.30 pm.
The venue is a members house, or an agreed meeting point for a visit to a garden.

Format is informal. Members bring information about plants of interest and we study different aspects of plant growing eg seed sowing, cuttings, pruning, lawn care. We usually alternate visits to gardens with an "at home" session.

Programme 2018 - 2019

26th October: Visit to Gunnersbury Park, Jennie to lead
23rd November: Kew Palace.
21st December: Festive lunch at Syon Garden Centre
25th January: Pruning demo, or viewing DVD if inclement weather
22nd February: Kew Orchid Festival
22nd March: Seed sowing and Cuttings
26th April: Isabella Plantation, Richmond Park

We currently have 12 members, but as some do not come regularly we could accommodate a couple more.
There are no joining requirements other than an interest in gardens and plants, and the ability to travel to gardens we visit.

Convener: Hilary White, tel - 020 8560 3564, or email through the blue bird, top right
