Sunday Sandwich Lunch
"It has occurred to me for some time that many of us view weekends with some trepidation, so adding to the theme of Sunday lunch meetings, i.e. paying for a meal out with the Sunday lunch club.
I am advocating a relaxed bring your own, Sandwich, Soup or Salad etc. I will provide coffee or tea. I look forward to an opportunity for people to chat, laugh, knit, sew, crossword, board games, etc and get to know others.”
Who is the Sunday sandwich lunch group for: -
- Anyone-particularly those who would appreciate spending time with others on a Sunday.
It is an opportunity to relax and have fun being with others.
Bring your own, Sandwich, Soup or Salad. It’s an opportunity for people to chat, laugh, knit, sew, do a crossword etc and get to know others. Pam will provide coffee or tea. She intends to make a very small charge for tea and coffee which will go to charity.
Will the members need any specific equipment or materials: -
As well as your lunch, just bring yourself or bring anything you enjoy doing or you think others might enjoy doing with you.
How will the members participate: -
- Come to just relax, chat, or, engage in any activities that may be going on, as desired, maybe learn new pastimes like wordle or waffle. My hope is to be flexible; no activities are especially pre planned.
This group will have a maximum capacity of 10 people.
