Mah Jong Beginners, three groups
Group meeting times:

Mah Jong is a friendly game of luck with simple strategies. Four people play a lively, individual game with tiles that have intriguing designs and are delightful to touch. It’s not played in silence - there are things to say as well as things to do.
The Bicester U3A Mah Jong Beginners Group consists of 30 members who attend one of the three meetings as in the table above. We aim for a minimum of eight members at each meeting. During the meetings, players, refer to their notes and help each other when playing non-competitively.
The meetings are held at Littlebury Hotel, Bicester and are two hours long with a coffee/tea break in the middle.
A previous six week intensive course of instruction enabled current members to begin to play Mah Jong according to the British Mah Jong Association rules. The instruction included basic strategies, scoring and some ‘special hands’.
