I am looking into arranging a visit to Vindolandia on Hadrian’s Wall. The actual site tour takes an hour with time to browse the remains then a museum visit, which takes about an hour and a half. The coach trip is about two hours each way. The proposed date is the 15th April. The cost would be around £35.
So far, I have 14 members of the archaeology group but to be viable I need 26/28. If you are interested, can you let me know before the 1st February?
"Vindolanda lies just to the south of the curtain wall of Hadrian's Wall and has a very different ‘feel’ to other sites along the Wall. It lies upon the first Roman frontier in the north – The Stanegate Road and is a stunning landscape, which lets your imagination really connect with its past."
