SINGING FOR FUN
We meet every Monday at 2:00pm until 3:30pm at the United Reform Church in Cheshunt High Street.
We sing along to music downloaded from the internet, 60s, Country, and music from the shows. All lyrics are supplied and we have around 170 songs. If you have a song you like, we will give it a try.
The fee is £2.00 per session and you will get a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.
The singing for pleasure group is back to full strength, we now have between 30 and 40 members coming to sessions regularly. We have 78 songs from Country, Beatles, Abba, and lots of 50, 60 music. We sing along to recordings of the original artists. It’s only Singing for Fun, we are not a Choir.

On Monday 21st of February 2023 we had our annual Dinner at the Bulls Head Turnford. At the moment the group is now full as we have around 50 people on our register.
We started back for 2022 on Monday 17th and we had 33 people attending including 2 new members.
Only 17 attended the Christmas Meeting to sing Christmas songs due to Covid. but they did an excellent job and l think they were well received.
We now have a song list of some 70 songs from various artists including Abba, Seekers, Carpenters and lots of 50s and 60s music.
We are a group that just sings for fun. Singing is very good for you and you can make new friends. WE ARE NOT A CHOIR so if you can’t sing it doesn’t matter, we have a laugh and sing along to recordings and sometimes without.
