Music Appreciation
The Music Group is open to all U3A members who have a love of music in all its myriad forms. No technical musical knowledge is needed, just an open mind and a willingness to explore musical genres. Presentations are by Group members on a purely volunteer basis but we are always looking for new members with knowledge of both specialist and mainstream music! As well as recorded music we sometimes have live music presentations.
Our group has been badly hit by the Covid-19 epidemic. The Snug at the McBoyle Hall is the right size for our group and has an adequate sound system with the facility to play DVDs also. The problem is that it has poor ventilation so we were unable to hold meetings until recently.
