Moray Coast

Welcome

TOGETHER WE SHARE AND LEARN, AS INDIVIDUALLY WE GROW

The Moray Coast u3a is the local branch of the u3a for retired/semi-retired people living in the coastal area between Banff and Elgin.

Formed in November 2011 the Moray Coast u3a now has several active interest groups meeting on a regular basis. Our membership is increasing steadily and we hope to add more Interest Groups as our membership grows. Go to Groups page to learn more.

The Third Age Trust is the national representative body for the u3a in the UK. U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.

Many of our members make new, like minded, friends as in addition to learning. Go to u3a for the National UK website or select the U3A Scotland link, on the right, for access to the u3a Scotland website.

Our Monthly meeting is currently held at the McBoyle Hall in Portknockie on the third Wednesday of the month, between September and May. There is normally a guest speaker and tea/coffee and biscuits. Come along and see us, you can be sure of a warm welcome. Go to Events page for full details.
