Ukulele Group

We aim to meet every Friday from 10.00 - 11.00 at the Woolwell Centre.

FEBRUARY
The group continues to meet each Friday morning, 10 - 11, at the Woolwell Centre. Dave, our leader, says he is very impressed with how we have progressed from one chord just over a year ago to attempting seven chords now for Eric Clapton's San Francisco Bay Blues!

New members are always welcome. We don't always keep good time while playing so would particularly welcome somebody to keep a steady beat on a percussion instrument.

Our next session is on Friday 8th March at the Woolwell Centre.

JANUARY 2024
The ukulele group is going from strength to strength!
We now have 12 members, including our leader, Dave.
We enjoyed playing at the U3A Christmas party in December!

We meet each Friday morning, 10-11, at the Woolwell Centre.
Our next session will be on Friday 2nd February.

If you would like to join us, whether you can play or not,

the board at the next club meeting. Even if you just want
to sing along and play a percussion instrument you will
be very welcome. We can provide a ukulele if you want
to see if you like it before buying one.

NOVEMBER
We now have 11 members, including Dave, our leader.

Much of our time recently has been practising for Christmas, as we are putting on a short

performance at the U3A Christmas party at 2.30 pm on Friday 8th December at Woolwell.

We hope to show you what we have achieved in a year, and what you could achieve

if you fancied joining us! We have made progress, but we mainly have fun.

Our last session this year will be Friday 15th December. Our first session next year will be

Monday 5th January, 10.00 am at the Woolwell Centre.
