Singing for fun
The group meets monthly on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays 10.30 am at the Roborough Methodist Church for an hour or hour and a half. Occasionally extra meetings are added for rehearsal for particular events where the group has been asked to sing.

The group of happy singers continues to meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, with extra
practices if we are close to a concert or even.
There are 15 of us, and we make a merry sound. Our practice times really are fun, and everyone is
involved in the choice of music, and the way we sing it.
Every year we do a concert at Roborough Methodist Church, which has always been well received. We
also provide musical contributions at the U3A birthday and Christmas parties.
We have existed as a group since the very birth of Moors Edge U3A, and some of us have belonged to
the group through all these last 9 years.
We are always open to new members, the main requisite simply being able to sing in tune. We are
always especially pleased to welcome new gentlemen so as to retain a good balance of male and female
voices.
