SCRABBLE GROUP 2
This group is now up and running and meets approximately every month, on a Monday afternoon, at Al's Kitchen, at the old Airport Business Centre on the Estover Industrial Estate.
FEBRUARY
We welcomed a new member to the group on Monday 26th February, so we now have nine members. Seven of us were able to attend this month, so we had two groups playing and swapped around after each game so we all got to play with everybody else. It was fun. We also enjoyed drinks and snacks. Our next session will be Monday 25th March, 12 - 2, at Al's Kitchen.
New members are always welcome.
JANUARY
We couldn't all make the planned meeting on 8th January,
so we had a second session this month on 29th January, otherwise it
would have seemed a long time since Christmas for a get-together.
Seven of the eight members met on the 29th, so we split
into two groups and had three games each. We met, as usual,
in Al's Kitchen, Airport Business Park, Estover, and ate a light
lunch while playing. They don't charge for using the room,
and are always very welcoming. It's a great venue.
If you would like to join us we are always pleased to welcome

or sign the board at the club meeting. If you don't know how to play
it won't take long to teach you! You just need to enjoy playing
around with words and letters, and having a nice sociable time.
Our next session is on Monday 26th February, 12 noon at Al's.
There are steps down, but you can access the café through the
kitchen if you need to, which is on a level with the car park.
NOVEMBER
Scrabble 2 group met at Al's Kitchen on Monday 13th November.
We welcomed a new member, which brought our numbers up to 8,
so we were able to have two games running at the same time.
Our next planned session is Monday 18th December,
12 noon at Al's Kitchen, Airport Business Park.
