Audio Book Group
UPDATE for the new session 2022 - 2023
We are a small but enthusiastic group who meet on the third Tuesday of the month. (Previously, we had the use of the large room in Trust Housing, North Church Street, Callander but, as they have restrictions on numbers at present, we shall meet in my home. Trust Housing is very willing to welcome us back once the restrictions on numbers are relaxed.)
We have an arrangement with Fiona in Callander Library to provide us with audio tapes and we then have a discussion about the various authors and the content.
As with all book groups it is the enjoyment of fellowship and being able to read and discuss authors who may be new to us that enhances our enjoyment of books. We have very different tastes so seldom have little to say!
We shall be delighted to meet anyone who has difficulty with their sight and would like to explore audio books. However, we have members who listen to tapes and have no sight problems, so everyone is welcome.
Our first Audio Book Group will be held in my home at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday 20th September. I shall send an email to present members and if you would like to join our group, please get in touch with me.
