UPDATE for the new session 2023 - 2024
We meet in St Andrew’s Church Hall, Callander on the second Friday of the month from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon. There is a charge of £2 per person, per meeting, to cover the rental of the hall.
The meetings are a mixture of group research, visits and talks. For each of the group research meetings, one person from the group has volunteered to take the lead and then others can contribute their own research. It is up to each person to decide whether they contribute to the group research or not.
How to find us
- If you are coming from the Doune / Stirling direction, St Andrew’s Church is on the right-hand side of the road just after Tesco as you drive out of Callander, heading North towards Strathyre.
- If you are coming from the Strathyre / Killin direction, St Andrew’s is on the left-hand side. Drive past the pedestrian crossing and the church is next door to The Old Rectory Hotel.
There is a small car park at the church. Follow the path round the right-hand side of the church and you will come to the hall.
We are a short walk from the bus stop in Station Road and the main car parks at Station Road and The Meadows. There is limited parking at the church. Toilets are available, if required.
