Classical Music Appreciation

UPDATE for 2023 - 2024

During the Covid restrictions, the Classical Music Appreciation group started meeting via Zoom. We seem to have found that a good format and so we are currently continuing with it.

Generally, after a brief introduction from the member compiling the afternoon’s programme, we spend our time listening to, or watching, their chosen music being performed. Sometimes we have a "Members' Favourites" session. We end up with a variety of music: some well-known pieces, others less so but always worth a try!

The sessions are on a Friday, every three weeks or so, and last 75 to 90 minutes. Our next session will be on 17th November at 3 p.m., when some of our members will introduce one of their favourites.

After that, we'll meet on 8th December and (probably) on 5th January.
