The aim of the group is to discuss contemporary events reported in the media or raised in TV programmes such as Question Time. If you have a view that you wish to express on what is happening in the world, or are simply looking for further insights into such issues, you will enjoy this group. No experience necessary.
Why not give us a try?
There is room for more voices and we welcome new members. It is a light hearted and very informal group. Bring your own subjects for discussion if you wish or just go with the flow. If you prefer listening to talking, that is fine. No pressure to express any opinion.
Our next meeting is on Monday 18th December(a week early due to Christmas Day on our normal Monday) Following that we meet again on 22nd January 2024 between 10 and 12 at our lovely venue, The Waverney Centre (behind Hughes). Half time coffee and biscuits or cake at very reasonable price.
