Outings will be cancelled if we do not have enough people fully paid up a month before the outing. If you have payed anything and the outing has to be cancelled, you will be fully refunded. Details on how you can make payment can be found on Outings Booking Form 2024 and include:

  • Payment by cheque
  • Payment by Bank Transfer
  • Cash+

+ If paying by cash please ensure you get a receipt at the time of payment

From overgrown wasteland thick with weeds and brambles, Beth Chatto created a unique garden. Her motto, 'using the right plant for the right place' enabled her to turn unpromising gravel that gets little rain into a wonderful garden that is both gentle on the eye and alive with colour

Sizewell B 24 May 2024 - Sizewell B - Free Car Share - Confirmed

The nuclear reactor, Sizewell B, is the only pressurised water reactor in Britain. Trained guides will take you on a tour of Britain's most modern nuclear power plant that generates approximately 1198 megawatts and supplies power to about 3 million homes. The tour will be a walk of about 1.65 miles and we must be there by 9.30am.

Woodbridge is a sleepy little town with a surprise around every corner. This trip includes a visit to the world renowned Anglo Saxon long boat at Sutton Hoo. A burial boat, it is believed to have been the resting place for King Raedwald who died c 624. The High Hall houses an exhibition that includes replicas of many of the objects found on the site since the ship was first discovered in 1939

Famed for its parkland, Queen Elizabeth II planted over 1500 trees and more than a million more were planted as part of the Green Canopy in honour of the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee

If you enjoy your wine then this is an outing for you. Amble between rows of vines laden with grapes that just need a little sun to ripen. Using 5 different varieties of grape, they specialise in white and rosé wine, sparkling white and sparkling rosé wines. Madeleine Angevine and the English sparkling rosé “Sundancer” are particularly fine with the Madeleine Angevine winning Gold from the UK Vineyard Association
