The aim is to have fun with French, whilst learning about French language and culture, and improving on current level of ability.
We currently have 9 groups shared among 6 conveners. Please see individual sub pages and contact the convenor for venue details and up to date information about each group. Please contact the overall convener, via the little bird on this page for general information (about the most appropriate group for you to join and where there might be vacancies).
French Conversation- Tourist French for beginners: Convenor: Kate O'Brien, meet 2nd and 4th Friday morning 10am AND new group meet 2nd and 4th Friday afternoon 2pm
French Conversation- Tourist & Twinning French: Convener: Kate O'Brien, meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday morning 10am
French Conversation - Follow on French: Convener: Diane Dungate, meet 1st and 3rd Thursday morning 11.00am
French Conversation - Intermediate : Convener: Pamela Saint-Mart, 2 groups meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday morning at either 10.00am or 11.15am.

We had fun 'baptising' our new Boules last Summer at the Three Horseshoes in North Cove We were able to pick up some tips from some local league players, and made a valiant attempt against the french visitors, who came to show us how it should be done!
Our next whole group event will be on: Monday 20th January 2020 2-4pm Venue: The Undercroft at St Michael's Church Beccles. Venez Nombreux for La Galettes des Rois but please get in touch via the little bird to let us know you are coming and make sure we have enough!
