Creative Writing
Leader Miall James
Meets at 1.30 pm on the THIRD TUESDAY of the month at 37A Stoneham St., Coggeshall (on Library Lane, the road leading down to the car park and surgery.) Parking is FREE for two hours, but users must obtain a ticket from the machine
If any of our new members would like to try their hand, we'd be delighted to support them. Or, if anyone has spent their lives writing reports, or other items 'to order' and would like to try and spread their creative wings they'll find sympathy and support with us.
The subject for April was "Renting a car and finding a suitcase in the boot". and Bob Bradford's excellent albeit rather alarming story can be found in the side-bar. Or underneath depending on whether members reading this are using a computer, and iPad or tablet, or a phone.
For April we picked, from a list originally supplied by he U3a's Creative Writing Advisor, "Ancient Sites". As a Coggeshall resident I'm rather spoiled for choice locally, of course, and we're not too far from Britains first, pre-Roman, city, either. But we shall see!
For a future meeting we're going to try something we've done before, writing from a picture and Group Members, and anyone who fancies joining us are asked to bring alone a couple of pictures which we can use for inspiration.
Contact me, Miall, the Leader via the Blue Bird or directly on 07919 387667.
