Witham & District (Essex)

u3a Day

The National u3a Day is on Wednesday 2nd June when all u3a's throughout the UK can take part in activities to advertise the u3a movement.
Witham and District (Essex) u3a have a sub committee to plan our involvement in u3a Day and have created a program of events.
On that day, a number of our members will volunteer to take part in activities such as Litter Picking in the town, (this is with the cooperation of the Witham Wombles).
A static display will be situated in the Grove Centre to promote and answer questions on the u3a movement.
Ron Macey of the Ramblers Original Group will organise a "Non-Members Ramble" to encourage members of the public to join with u3a members in a Ramble through the town.
Fingers crossed for fine weather and plentiful shoppers on that day, if any member wishing to take part in our activities, please contact Alan Stevens via the Blue Bird icon in the R/H column.
Keep well everyone.

Alan Stevens.
