UPDATE ON GROUP ACTIVITIES

Taw U3A currently has approximately 40 Special Interest Groups, with a total of about 70 meetings every month. Each group has a Group Leader who is also a member of Taw U3A. The leader, who may well have created the group, has a special interest in their particular topic, but is not necessarily an expert. Group members are encouraged to share the knowledge they have acquired during their earlier lives, and pass this on so that we all learn from each other.

In each group we encourage a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where members can learn, develop and enjoy the company of like-minded people.

Please browse the list of our current groups shown at the bottom of this page. For further information on a particular group, a single left-click on the group name will open another page with more details about them.

If you decide you would like to join a particular group - apply to the Leader of that group via our Contact page. Some groups are very popular and you may not be able to join them immediately but do check with the Leader, as it may be possible for you to go on a waiting list.

Members wishing to start a new group should contact our 'Group Co-ordinator', by using the form on our Contact page.
