Taw U3A in Barnstaple - North Devon

This handsome Grade II listed building was the home of the Museum, Library and Records Office from 1876 until 1988 at which time the Museum was left as the sole occupant as the Library and Records Office moved to their present site by the old Cattle Market. The Museum has now outgrown its home and preparations are under way for an extension. Members of Taw U3A are offering to help with the task of recording and safely moving some of the existing exhibits, in preparation for building work to commence. The new wing should be open to the public in 2019
