Bus Pass Group

Bus Pass

The group brings together people who hold a Bus Pass and would like to visit different locations for a sociable outing. We travelled to South Molton for the initial trip where we visited the Pannier Market and met up again for lunch in a local Pub. The group agreed to take turns to arrange the outings, checking the times of the buses, the number of the bus and route it will take and then finding a suitable venue for lunch and making a booking there. A number of destinations have already been enjoyed, such as Westward Ho!, Ilfracombe, Tiverton, Okehampton, Torrington etc. At present the aim is to meet on the fourth Thursday of each month. Details will appear in the monthly newsletters with the name and contact details of the person arranging that trip. It was generally agreed at the first outing that we should keep the outings informal with an emphasis on the sociable and friendly aspect of the outings. David and Jill will act as overall contacts for the group.

If you wish to join this group you should contact the Group Leaders to go onto the waiting list. If you are already a member please contact the person organising that month’s trip direct to secure a place.

Please use the form on our Contact page to contact the Group Leaders.
