Welcome to Taw U3A, and if you are looking to join a vibrant group of retired people where you can Learn, Laugh, and Live, then we may be for you.
If you are no longer in full-time work or raising a family then we are for you. Taw U3A gives you opportunities to develop your interests, learn new skills and have fun. We also give you the opportunity to meet like-minded people.
Taw U3A are part of a National Organisation which has more than 1000 branches across the UK where approximately 450,000 members are making the most of life. We have approximately 40 Interest Groups, and for a modest annual fee you can join as many groups as you wish. Some groups charge a small additional fee to cover costs of venues and speakers. Full details of the different groups, which range from Exercise, Hobbies, Art and Crafts, Discussion, Walking or Social, can be found on our Groups page.
Once a month we hold a Coffee Morning at The Roundswell Community Centre, next to Sainsbury's Barnstaple, where we can get together for a social occasion. Details of these, and other events, can be seen on our Events page.
