Stafford

Theatre group

This group arranges trips to numerous Theatres around the Midlands and each trip is open to all of the group's members, and then once a decision has been taken to go, and has been agreed by the Group Organiser that it is viable. The trip is then open to all of the Stafford U3A membership providing sufficient Theatre tickets, and Coach seats are still available.

Methodology of the Decision Making Process

1) Group Members put forward suggestions to the Group Organiser.
2) The Group Organiser obtains all of the relevant details and prices etc, and notifies all group members accordingly.
3) The group members then decide individually if they wish to go or not.
4) If they do wish to go, they inform the Group Organiser of their wishes.
5) If sufficient group members wish to go and the trip is viable the Group Organiser notifies those group members who have shown an interest that the trip is authorised to proceed.
6) The Group Organiser subsequently issues the necessary booking forms, arranges the trip, and arranges to collect the monies from each member going.
7) The Group Organiser then (if sufficient time is available) arranges to advertise the trip for any vacancies that are still available to the wider membership.
8) The Group Organiser notifies all members who have agreed to go on the trip with the relevant details and the itinerary.
9) On the day away we go.

If group members have ideas about plays or shows you would like to go and see, or you wish to add your name to our group membership list, to receive notification of forthcoming plans then please send a message to the group organiser by clicking Contact Us.
