Proposed Groups - and suggested ideas

PTE AV Studio (slideshow software): if interested click: PTE AV enquiry
Member David Farnell (DJF not DSF) has started using PTE AV Studio slideshow software (following the demise of ProShow Producer) and would be interested to hear if any other members are using it and would be interested to share expertise and results. A small group would be ideal.

You might have tried to join an existing group, only to discover that it's full. If so, how about starting a second one of your own, using the waiting list as a starting point? Contact Group Support Team, or the existing Group Leader for advice.

Other ideas

St Ives (Cambs) u3a offers a wide range of interest groups, but there is always scope for more. Perhaps you have a special interest or hobby that you could share with others. Other u3as run groups on all sorts of things not currently available here - how about starting one yourself?

The burden need not be great - advice is always available from the Group Support Team, and you could run a group jointly with others who share similar interests. Whether weekly, fortnightly or monthly, or wintertime only, the choice is yours.

If you have an idea for a group and would like to test the water, you can contact the Group Support Team. We could then insert an ad in a future magazine to seek individuals who might join your group.

The following subjects are particularly popular in other u3as - maybe you could start one yourself?
