Murder Mystery Club is a brand-new initiative for local u3as and is open to members of both Scunthorpe and North Lindsey u3a. We meet on the third Saturday of the month from 2pm-4pm in the clubhouse of Scunthorpe Bowls Club off Lloyds Avenue. As you enter Lloyds Avenue from the traffic lights on Ashby Road, take the first narrow entrance into a tenfoot on the left just after the bus stop and before the first house. The postcode for that area is DN17 1BY. There are parking spaces for 12 cars but if they are taken, there is plenty of parking on Lloyds Avenue itself.
As the title of the group suggests, we meet to solve the murder of a character in a playset. It is enormous fun and members can fully engage with the characters and/or put their sleuthing skills to the test to solve the whodunnit.
Currently the entry fee is £1 and 50p for tea or coffee.
