The quiz group meets on the first Thursday of each month in the clubhouse at Scunthorpe Bowls Club on Lloyds Avenue.
Do you enjoy those quiz programmes on TV? The Chase, Eggheads, Pointless, University Challenge, Mastermind and so on. If so the quiz group could be for you! We meet for a couple of hours on the 1st Thursday of each month and enjoy a quiz, with rounds set by group members.
In a recent quiz had questions on Musicals, Abbreviations (why is that such a long word?) The Human Body, History, and Scotland. Some examples: -
What is the anthem of Liverpool FC?
Name the two bones in the forearm.
What was the ancient capital of Scotland?
If you want to give it a try, you are not expected to set questions on your first visit.
