Drawing for Pleasure

Drawing for Pleasure Group – u3a Inverness & Black Isle

The “Drawing for Pleasure Group” – (u3a Inverness & Black Isle) meets on the 4th Thursday of the Month.
The time of the meetings are 2.00pm to 4.00pm (10-minute coffee break in the café at 2.50pm)
The Drawing Group meetings are held in Culloden/Baptist Church, Wellside Road, Culloden Inverness. IV2 7GS
We are a very relaxed, happy and informal group of about 12 to 14 members of hugely diverse drawing abilities from complete beginners to experienced artists.

We are very lucky to have one of our members (Terri) who is able and willing and to act as “Drawing Advisor” and can help beginners get started, plus offer advice to anyone who needs it.

New members will always be made most welcome.

The only equipment new members need to bring with them is a pencil (HB if possible) a pencil sharpener, a rubber, and a two sheets of copy paper (from e.g. their printer) though paper can be provided.

There is no point New Members spending money on additional drawing equipment until they know what they personally want/need long term.

The forthcoming dates for meetings are as follows…
Thursday 25th January 2024
Thursday 22nd February 2024
Thursday 28th March 2024
Thursday 25th April 2024
Thursday 23rd May 2024

All meetings are 2.00pm – 4.00pm at Culloden Baptist Church, Wellside Road, Inverness. IV2 7GS

I do hope you will join us, and I very much look forward to making you most welcome.
Ali McLaren (Leader)
