NEXT WALK: 14th October Aldourie PS/Scaniport Circular walk
At the moment we have permission by the U3A to continue walking, however we need to observe our Covid 19 Guidelines together with our updated Guidance Notes for Safe Walking (available from Alan, see below).

Travel directions
This walk starts at 10am from the car park next to Aldourie Primary School (GR 606364) off the B862. Remember no car sharing and that parking is limited so we may need to double stack cars depending on numbers.
The walk follows the minor road up past the McBean Memorial to a forest track that we follow northwards and then head down to a farm track up to the main Inverness -Dores road which we cross and walk along for 40 m before turning down a road to Loch Dochfour then following lochside towards Loch Ness and then returning to the start.
The walk is 12.8km(8mls) long and we climb about 160 m (480 ft).
As we will be on minor roads for a bit of the walk, and Social Distancing may be difficult to achieve it is recommended that you all bring a face covering, hand sanitisers etc.

Please contact Alan (alanandwendy@crudens.net) if you are coming on the walk or the short walk so that he can allocate groupings.

Proposed future walks are as follows:
28th October Inverarnie
11th November Kiltarlity area/Knockfarrel
25th November Ord Hill and Pitlundie
9th December Culloden and Feabuie
