Welcome to Inverness & Black Isle U3A
The U3A offers the opportunity for retired, or semi-retired people, to get together to share common interests, develop new ones, keep themselves active and involved and be part of a great social network. We hold general meetings with invited speakers from September to May to which all members are invited. They cover a wide range of topics and are (under normal conditions) followed by the opportunity to chat to other members over a cup of tea and look at what is on offer in our Interest Groups. Interest groups cover a wide variety of subjects. They are informal in nature and are led by the members of the group. There is no formality, no examinations or certificates just the opportunity for people to get together to explore a shared or new interest with a small group of like-minded people, or simply to socialise with others while maybe learning some new things.
