Inverness & Black Isle

Local & Family History

We are a small group which switches its principal attentions from family to local history from time to time. For the next year or two we are going to revert to local history and have decided to look at various aspects of Beauly and its hinterlands - broadly the area around the head of the Beauly Firth from Tarradale to Kirkhill and up the glens (Convinth and Strath Glas).

We usually meet on the afternoon of the second Tuesday of the month, the next meetings being scheduled for 2.00 pm on:

10th November 2020
8th December 2020

Zoom links for each meeting will be sent to all members of the group. Anyone wishing to join us should contact me by by clicking on the contact tab, so that I know to add you to the membership and send you these links, which will be sent out about 4-5 days in advance of the meeting.

For the next year or two we are going to cover the local history of Beauly and its hinterlands - broadly the area around the head of the Beauly Firth from Tarradale to Kirkhill and up the glens (Convinth and Strath Glas).
