Inverness & Black Isle

Crafts

Meetings are on the second Monday of the month at Balloch Church, in an area where we have space to spread out.

We usually look at a different craft each month but occasionally follow on with a craft at the next meeting if there is a need or demand.

In most cases a member of the group has organised the group with a skill they have learned but we have had a couple of people come in and show us new skills.

Some of the crafts we have covered are:
• Iced flowers
• Beading – jewellery and stars for Christmas
• Cards of various styles and types
• A very successful visit from the Spinning and Weavers Guild where we all had a go at spinning and weaving
• Lanterns

We have great fun along with a great sense of achievement when we produce a new piece of craft, not to mention laughter when we make mistakes.
