Playreading

Group Leader: Geoff Tagg

Venue: Baptist Church Hall, Chequer Road, Doncaster, DN1 2AL

Day & Time: Wednesday 1.00 - 3.30 p.m.

Frequency: Monthly: 3rd Wednesday of the month

Description:
We have a different play each month, which we read out loud in a group, sharing the roles. This group would suit anyone who likes plays, whether on television or at the theatre. No preparation is required - we simply turn up and read them! The number of members per session is limited to 12, to ensure everyone gets a decent part to read. The location may vary. Please contact Group leader if you would like to come along.

We read a wide variety of plays, covering comedy and drama - recent examples in late 2019 include The History Boys, Dangerous Obsession, The Crucible - and Oliver Twist.

Plans for 2020 include The Dresser, Mrs Warren's Profession - and Ghosts.
