Crown Green Bowls

Group leader: George Kirk

Venue: Haslam Park, Ellers Crescent, Bessacarr, Doncaster DN4 7DP

Day & Time: Thursday 2.00 pm (1.30 pm during the winter)

Frequency: Weekly

Description: This group is for members who are looking for outdoor physical enjoyment, who may or may not have any experience of crown green bowls. The facilities are managed on behalf of Doncaster Council by Haslam Park Bowling Club, to which we are affiliated. Help, advice, and instruction is at hand from fellow members. Bowls are available for use.

.
The new management group for the Green are allowing us to play on through the winter, so if you want to experience bowling in winter thermals and bobble hats etc, please come and join us, even if you just want to be a spectator. We have moved the starting time in winter to 1.30pm (once the clocks change). Only severe weather will stop us from enjoying getting frozen noses or being watered by the heavens opening. Ring me on the day if you think the weather is doubtful. See you there?
