A new group which held their first meeting September 2023
We have a list of the books that the library can supply but also have a list of other books recommended in national press and publications. We chose the book together from the list recommended in a recent Magazine. This time because the book is not on the library’s list everyone was sourcing the book themselves. A couple ordered it from the library and a couple of us have downloaded it. The genre of books will probably be flexible and those attending the first meeting went away with the lists of books to find something they fancy reading to recommend to the rest of the group. There are vacancies at the moment.
To cover the cost of the room at the library we paid £1 each but considered paying a larger sum to cover a few months.
